Ask a question via ActiVote and watch as the classroom comes alive with participation. Students click to respond and answers are instantly viewed, shared and analyzed on the interactive whiteboard in easy to understand formats such as bar graphs and pie charts. Like all of Promethean’s products, ActivExpression was designed by teachers for teachers, with ease of use and flexibility as top considerations. The software is directly integrated into Promethean’s ActivInspire enabling teachers to use ActivExpression spontaneously, minimizing the need for preparation and making the most of classroom time.

In the ActivClassroom, everyone wants to come to the board. With ActivArena, student and teacher can assemble and contribute together. It’s one student, one teacher and two pens working in an endless environment of collaboration.

In the ActivClassroom, we learn our lessons together. ActivArena makes Dual-User functionality and vibrant group collaboration possible at the ActivBoard. Complete with two newly designed ActivPens (two teacher and two student pens), ActivArena allows two people to use the ActivBoard simultaneously whilst giving the person with the “teacher” pen control. The result is collaboration, connectivity and engagement like never before.
ActivArena 50 Upgrade Pack has been developed for the new 100 and 300 Ranges (requires upgrade to ActivInspire Professional Edition if not already used). ActivArena Upgrade Pack is also available for most* existing ActivBoards. (*ActivBoard 64, 78, 87, 95). Simply choose the appropriate Upgrade Pack. Please note the packs differ for each generation of board, you may also require firmware updates for your ActivBoards.

If you are looking to upgrade the Firmware on your second generation ActivBoard, to allow Dual-User mode, you can achieve this by purchasing ActivArena. This upgrade pack will include: Firmware upgrade for your ActivBoard, Software update to ActivInspire Professional Edition, Dual ActivPens and Resource Pack.

If you are looking to upgrade your new ActivBoard 100 or 300 you should purchase ActivArena 50, this will contain Dual ActivPens and Resource Pack to enable Dual-User functionality, if you have a 100 series ActivBoard you will also need to upgrade your software to ActivInspire Professional Edition

In the ActivClassroom, bigger is better only most of the time. What do you do if your classroom or lecture hall is too large (or just not suitable) for an ActivBoard? Our ActivPanel can help. It’s a 15-inch LCD mini-board that plugs straight into your PC and lets you use a pen-like stylus to control our ActivInspire software, which can then be projected onto any size screen in razor-sharp detail.

ActivPanel allows total control of the lesson, the lecture, and ActivInspire software, without forcing you to turn your back on the audience. Whatever is on your PC’s screen shows up on your ActivPanel, and everything on your ActivPanel shows up on your room’s screen. Just make the necessary connections, grab your stylus, and connect with students, parents, attendees, or anyone else anxiously awaiting the show.

A plug-and-play visual presenter that brings real objects to life on the ActivBoard.
In the ActivClassroom, we show much more than tell. Bring any object or document to the ActiView 322 Visual Presenter, and the whole class can share in the finer details. Capture 3D objects for interactive show and tell, class work for review sessions, art, texts, flora, fauna, anything—ActiView puts it on view, on the ActivBoard for all to see.
With intuitive automatic settings, ActiView is “plug-and-play” for seamless start-up. And combined with ActivInspire software, images can be captured for future flipcharts, annotated or drawn over and saved to create custom libraries of real-life resources.

All are interfaced with a mixer-amplifier and played evenly between two to eight stereo speakers, depending on your needs. The system is versatile enough to fit any space, even the smallest or most temporary. Regardless, the result is amplification of the learning experience for everyone.

Introducing ActivEngage

ActivEngage is a software-based Learner Response System. In schools that have invested in 1:1 laptop initiatives, mobile laptop carts or computer labs for learners, ActivEngage extends the use of these computers for whole group instruction.

What is ActivEngage?

As the latest addition to Promethean’s family of Learner Response Systems for the ActivClassroom, ActivEngage enables networked Windows® and Mac® computers to act as response devices.

Using ActivInspire, the teacher displays a question on the interactive whiteboard or verbally, and the students respond using the virtual device on their computers. The ActivEngage Server can be the teacher’s computer or a centrally managed computer (Windows only).

The ActivEngage Server Edition does not require a physical ActivHub. It creates a Virtual Hub that enables client (student computer) to register and communicate with the teacher’s computer through ActivInspire software.
